Memoir, ca. 1943-2000.

In this handwritten memoir Lee Truax Dalton relates his experiences in the Navy during World War II. He writes of his time aboard the USS Instill as part of a mine-sweeper crew, and of his shore duty at Argentia, Newfoundland, in the North Atlantic. He also tells of a German P.O.W. U-Boat crew they supervised, and a heart-warming Christmas experience as part of the local Navy Choir who collected donations and distributed presents to the children of St. Johns, Newfoundland.
